Budget Impact:

While there is no facility rental fee, Norwin will be responsible for all costs associated with stadium operations during its use, including security personnel, EMS services, maintenance, custodial services, concessions, portable restrooms, and other event-related expenses.

That the Board approve the High School Band to compete in the Bands of America Regional Event.

Brandon Kandrack (Secondary Teacher) and fifteen (15) additional chaperones (TBD), plus approximately one hundred forty-five (145) students will be traveling to the University of Delaware in Newark, Delaware on Saturday, October 17, 2026 to Sunday, October 18, 2026.

Cooperative Girls' Wrestling Agreement with Yough School District

Description of Request:

That the Board approve the Cooperative Girls' Wrestling Agreement with Yough School District for the 2026-2027 School Year.

Relevant Facts:

Under the agreement, Norwin School District will sponsor the cooperative program, and Yough School District student-athletes will participate as members of the Norwin girls' wrestling team. In exchange, Norwin will receive use of the Yough High School Stadium turf field at no cost, with Norwin assuming responsibility for related operational expenses.
The attached letters reflect additional details of the cooperative agreement and WPIAL approval.
