3. Public Comment - Agenda Items

3.1. Guidelines for Public Comment
The Board President will follow Board Policy 903 (attached). The public comment period will be limited to 30 minutes at the beginning of the meeting. The Board Secretary will acknowledge first those who wish to comment on agenda items. If there is time remaining, general public comment will be taken. Once the allotted time has expired, any remaining general comments will be reserved for the public comment period at the end of the meeting. Public comment is limited to three (3) minutes per participant registered with the Board Secretary in advance of the meeting. No participant may cede his/her time to another participant. Comment registration slips are located on the table at the entrance to the Board Room. The Board Secretary will acknowledge those participants who are registered to come forward to the podium to address the Board during the public comment period. |
