Description:
The Foundation did not meet in July but is busy preparing for its 25th annual golf outing at Talamore Country Club on Tuesday October 6th, We are looking for both golfers and sponsors. The Foundation’s annual Build a Bag Backpack Drive is complete and we are thrilled to say that we have hundreds of backpacks to distribute to students. Thank you to all who donated. 8.E. Budget Transfers: Year End 2025-2026
Description:
Motion to allow the Business Office to properly state accounts by internally transferring funds at years end for closing and auditing purposes.
WHEREAS Section 687 of Public School code of 1949 requires that line item "sums appropriated to specific purposes in the budget" not to be exceeded; and WHEREAS under the school accounting system, line items have been determined to be major object levels within specific sub-functions; and WHEREAS year-end adjustments by the Business Office and Auditors may cause such line items to be exceeded; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the North Penn Board of School Directors, in accordance with the directions from the Auditor General's office, authorizes the Chief Financial Officer to make those necessary budget transfers within and between accounts to prevent any possible over expenditure without exceeding the total budget for 2025-2026. |

8.F. Power School Contract for 2026-2027 School Year
Description:
Administration is seeking approval for the 2026-2027 Power School Subscription which is our ERP system. The Contract includes $102,480 for the actual program subscription and $83,859 for Application Managed Services which will include the hopeful migration to the cloud-based application along with unlimited support during this process.

8.G. 2026-2027 Non-Union and Confidential Support Wage Increases
Description:
Recommend increase of 3.70% to the salary/hourly rate schedule of non-union and confidential support staff for the 2026-2027 fiscal year effective July 1, 2026. This amount was anticipated and budgeted for in the 2026-2027 budget.

8.H. Award of Transportation Department Operational Audit RFP to Transportation Advisory Services (TAS)
Description:
The District received four submissions in response to the Transportation Department Operational Audit Request for Proposals (RFP), and three firms were interviewed. Following the evaluation and interview process, the Committee recommends awarding the Transportation Department Operational Audit RFP to Transportation Advisory Services (TAS).
